The adorable lab, Negao, works as a friendly greeter for a Shell Gas Station in Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil.  The happy dog didn’t always have such a great gig, he was once an abandoned dog.

Dumped at the gas station by heartless humans, the kind owner of the Shell station, Sabrina Plannerer and her partner, decided to adopt Nagao and give him the loving home the sweet dog deserved.

They took him in and bought him all the stuff a dog needs like a leash, collar, food and his own bowl.  Then they took him to the vet to get an exam, shots, and to be dewormed.  After that, they gave him a job as a greeter at their gas station.

One look at Negao and you can see he loves his job.   Each day his smiling face greets the customers that come into the gas station.  Just like all the other employees, he wears his own employee hat and ID badge with his picture on it.  He also takes regular breaks and spends time hanging out with his co-workers.  The employees make sure to take him for walks around town so he gets plenty of exercise.

Everyone loves the cheerful Negao.  He has become so popular that he is now one of the faces for a local Brazilian charity called Grapo FERA, who work to raise awareness to increase respect for animals.  It is such a befitting honor considering his terrible past.

From being treated like trash to beloved pet, Negao is living his best life and bringing joy to everyone who meets him.  It would be impossible to find a cuter greeter for the gas station. If you ever find yourself in his neck of the woods, we’re sure he’d love it if you stopped in to say hi.
